In 2001 a new Hayman was unveiled - the culmination of a two-year $AUD18 million development program which included the introduction of new levels of accommodation, designed to reflect a more relaxed resort style.  All rooms, suites and penthouses are beautifully appointed, offering private terraces or balconies and breathtaking views of the magnificent pools, lagoons, gardens, beach and Whitsunday waters.

Lagoon Suites 
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the East Wing.  A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon, East Wing Pool and tropical gardens.  There is a separate bedroom, dressing room and lounge room.  Bathrooms contain a separate bath and shower.  There is a guest bathroom off the lounge room.

Pool Suites 
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Pool Wing.  A private balcony overlooks the Hayman Pool and tropical gardens.  Level 3 also overlooks the resort beach and Whitsunday Passage.  Suites are tiled throughout with Italian marble.  There is a separate bedroom, dressing room and lounge room.  Bathrooms contain a separate bath and shower.  Ivory timber shutters welcome in natural daylight and stunning views.  There is a guest bathroom off the lounge room.

Beach Garden
Situated in the tropical garden area adjoining the beachfront.  Rooms have a strong relationship with the outdoors, and the tropical surrounds provide a lush canopy enveloping a private verandah for each room with extended open patios and outdoor rinse showers.  The interiors include a peaceful haven of soft natural tones and rich grained woods.  

Beach Front 
An exclusive group of 12 units situated on the resort beach, overlooking the Whitsunday Passage.  Close to the Hayman Pool.  A private terrace extends onto coral sands. Rooms are tiled throughout with terracotta tiles. Bathrooms contain a double spa with separate shower.

Lagoon Deluxe 
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the East Wing.  A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon Pool and tropical gardens.  Level 3 also overlooks the resort beach and Whitsunday Passage.  These 15 rooms incorporate a contemporary style island bed and living room arrangement featuring an open plan bathroom.

Lagoon Superior 
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Lagoon Wing.  A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon, Lagoon Pool and tropical gardens.  Level 3 also overlooks the resort beach and Whitsunday Passage.  Bathrooms contain a separate bath and shower and dressing room.

Pool Superior 
Situated on Levels 1 and 2 of the Pool Wing.  A private balcony overlooks the Hayman Pool and tropical gardens.  Rooms are tiled throughout with Italian marble.  Bathrooms contain a combined bath/shower.

Penthouses
Situated on Level 4 of the Lagoon Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon, Lagoon Pool, tropical gardens, resort beach and Whitsunday Passage.  The 11 penthouses present a unique individual theme and offer one, two and three bedrooms and spacious living and dining areas, which reflect a relaxed lifestyle.  The décor is a blend of exquisite antiques, rare objets d'art and magnificent tonings.  Guests also enjoy the services of a personal Valet and exclusive use of the Penthouse Lounge.
